An animation studio in southern Stockholm

Studio Konkret was founded in 2020 by Linus Rosenqvist, Andreas Nilsson and Olle Bergmark, who previously formed the animation department of the production company Lillasyster Produktion. When Lillasyster was shut down, the trio moved to the current office at Kocksgatan 50 on Södermalm in Stockholm, and Studio Konkret was formed. Today, the company consists of animators, illustrators, producers, Art directors, compare and VFX artists. Together we have received nominations and awards at Roygala in Stockholm, Vega Awards in New York and NYX Video Awards in Los Angeles, among others.

What we do

Over the past few years, we’ve increasingly been working with Unreal Engine and Unity, which has opened up new possibilities for how we can create and deliver content. These tools allow us to produce everything from interactive backgrounds and virtual environments to fully rendered cinematics for games and other digital experiences.

The projects you’ll find below are a mix of client commissions and internal development projects, where we’ve explored new techniques and workflows. By combining commercial assignments with self-initiated experiments, we’ve been able to grow our expertise and push the technology further than would otherwise have been possible.

We see game engines as a platform for pushing the boundaries between traditional film production, interactive design, and real-time rendering. For us, it’s not just about creating striking visuals — it’s about exploring how technology can be used to tell stories in new ways and build more engaging experiences.
